On St. Patrick's Day, in recent years, I have posted an audio link
to a segment of a performance, by my mother, on the NBC television show Your Hit Parade. I am doing so again today.
The song--"It's a Great Day for the Irish"--aired on the March 15, 1952 telecast of the Hit Parade.
My mother was joined, in the
performance, by the show's wonderful vocal chorus, The Hit Paraders.
The show's "Lucky Strike Orchestra" was led by the great Raymond Scott.
